Robert has extensive experience in banking having held senior level positions with Citigroup and Standard Bank South Africa (Stanbic). Robert’s last assignment in banking was with Standard Bank as Director & Global Head, Payment Product Management where he led the bank’s corporate payment business strategy and governance across 39 countries. Robert previously served as the Chairman of the Digital Lenders Association of Kenya (DLAK), Chairman of the Digital Finance Committee (part of the Digital Economy Strategy taskforce, Ministry of ICT) and as member of the Steering Committee for the Digital Finance Flagship Project at the National Treasury. Robert holds an MBA from Oxford University,  Bachelor’s of Commerce degree and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
